By Key Stage 4 (years 9, 10 and 11), students are guided to progression routes, linked to future aspirations, designed to offer choice within a supportive structure tailored to needs. We offer a full range of Level 1 and 2 courses including GCSE, and BTEC courses. Students are able to access subjects to qualify for the English Baccalaureate. The core subjects of Maths and English are independent of the routes chosen and students are placed in sets for these subjects based upon ability. We offer a full programme of Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) for all students.
All students at Key Stage 4, study English Language and Literature, Mathematics, Core PE, Religious Education and Science. They have a Careers and PSHE programme that is delivered through half-days interspersed throughout the year. In addition to this, we offer a wide range of Options subjects.
